Hi, it’s nice to meet you!

My name is Rosalyn and I’m a developmental editor with an educational background in playwriting, screenwriting and tv writing. I’ve worked at production companies where I completed script coverage and provided feedback on the works of several writers.

I guess you could say I’ve stumbled my way into writing and the world of storytelling. Ever since I was young, I’ve always loved reading, and delving into the worlds of different books. I never had it mind to become a writer, though every time we had a school assignment, I’d get compliments on my writing. It was only when junior year of high school came around that I truly began to consider the idea of studying storytelling. Soon, I wanted to learn everything about the topic. I wanted to learn story structure, and the history and context surrounding the field. I wanted to learn why we tell stories and what makes a good story. I wanted to learn how to tell good stories. That desire led me to New York University, where I got to hone my craft. Since then, I’ve spent time completing coverage for script writers at production companies, as well as providing feedback to the writers around me. Now, I’m continuing to refine my story expertise as a developmental editor as I help writers shape their stories.
